Black Belt Training
Course Description and Audience:
Course is designed for those individuals who want a more indepth educational experience of the DMAIC process. Participants are aware of the DMAIC methodologies and some elementary tools associated with DMAIC. This class expands on the Green Belt curriculum by adding additional analytical skills and tools. There is also an emphasis on project management and mentoring as most organizations rely on their Black Belts to perform these tasks.
Course Objectives:
Upon completion of the course the participants will be able to:
1. Identify larger organizationals problem that requires improvement.
2. Define a problem in measurable terms.
3. Contain the problem while developing a long-term solution.
4. Collect respresentative data of the problem.
5. Use JMP to analyze the data for Root Causes.
6. Lead a team in brainstorming activities.
7. Prioritize solutions based upon Risk, Complexitiy, and Impact.
8. Initiate control plans to maintain the gains.
9. Mentor Green Belts through the DMAIC methodology.
