Introduction to JMP
Course Description and Audience:
Course is designed to be an introductory class for the Statistical Software Package - JMP. JMP is a powerful analytical tool used around the world and across numerous industries to solve complex statistical problems. This class assumes the participants have never had any exposure to JMP or any other statistical package.
Course Objectives:
Upon completion of the course the participants will be able to:
1. Create new JMP tables for data entry.
2. Open Excel files directly in JMP.
3. Perform column manipulation on data (Transpose, Stack, etc.)
4. Perform row manipulation on data (Exclude, Hide, Label)
5. Create summary statistics on data.
6. Utilize Tablulate (Pivot Tables) on data.
7. Create Graphs & Charts
8. Move Graphs & Charts into other documents (Word, Powerpoint, etc)
