Process Mapping Using Visio
Course Description and Audience:
This course is designed for employees who are working to map, analyze and improve process performance. It is assumed they come from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines and will be working on a variety of process improvement areas across the company.
Course Objectives:
Upon completion of the course the participants will be able to:
1. Demonstrate process mapping skills
2. Link data to process flows using Excel
3. Create cross functional process flow maps in Visio
4. Organize logical levels of detail
5. Add data to process flow maps
6. Edit and format process flow maps
7. Generate reports and summary statistics from process flow maps
8. Create value stream maps in Visio (optional)
